This is definitely one of my favorites in Sacramento. I've been there a handful of times and each visit has been amazing! The waiters are always attentive and very pleasant. Great ambiance, delicious margaritas, Mariachi on Fridays, nice outdoor seating.. I have absolutely no complaints. Will go there again soon! :D

We went there for my birthday. We haven't been there for a long time and now I remember why. The service was just alright, but the food wasn't very tasty. We will probably not return in the near future.

Food of course good,drinks and good atmosphere,plus the hostesses are hot!

I've only eaten here once, but the food was great! Most authentic Mexican food compared to other "Mexican Retaurants." Very likely to go again. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars... it was really busy and felt that waiter could have been more attentive, but he was still nice.

Not so good, took an hour to be seated, the food was less than great. I've had better burritos from a taco truck.thinking they should put money into the food and not the one page ads in Sacramento magazine.

My friend and I both got sick after eating here. The beef in the flauntas tasted like it had been sitting in the trash for 3 days and then deep fried. Also can anyone tell me what's up with a brown thick slime layer around the tamale? Yuck!!!!

we quit going to ernestos! lousy service,way too small portions for the price,too many flies. if you're hungry try vallegos,novilleroes{?},tres hemanas. anything BUT ernestos

Ernesto's has awesome vegetarian enchiladas but the problem is that they are totally sloppy in their kitchen and most of the time I end up finding stray meat in my food. I use to go there all the time but have stop going due to this. It's not really vegetarian if meat inadvertently gets in your food. I suggest they have a separate prep/cook area for vegetarian dishes if they want to retain their vegetarian customers.

I would have to say that if your drinking then this is an ok place, but to eat I would find another as they have mice, roaches and the food has gone downhill for years. Terrible place! Never again will they take my money but I will continue to tell all of my friends. My meal was cold, small portions and the help well, what help? Very slow service.
