This is my favorite restaurant in my town(pollock pines). My wife and I usually like to drive down the hill for good food, but if we want to stay in town this where we go. You get a lot for the money!

I really do love this places food. Unfortunately every single time I try to call in an order I end up speaking to a server who is not so strong in the English department. Today, for instance, as I don't have a car I wanted to call in my order so I could pick it up when I found a ride. I misplaced my menu so I tried to order a lunch to go but I ...

The Mandarin is my favorite restaurant in town. Lots of variety, very fast, and excellent food.

Great Food, Low Prices, Bad Parking
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/27/06
Been eating here since 1996 and have always found the food to be excellent and you really get a lot for your money. The sea food is a great value!
The place has received so many really good local and Sacramento reviews that you might have to wait for a table on the weekends. Parking can be a bit of a challenge since the Mandarin does share the small parking lot with two other popular restaurants and a bar.

Eat Where The Locals Eat!

Everyone says ask the locals where they eat, andI'm a local in Pollock Pines, and this an all time favorite. My favorite thing to get is the cashew chicken. Sweet and sour prawns are a favorite also in my family. The food is good for the stomach and great for the wallet. I would recomend it!

Curry Tofu (not on the menu) and Sechwan Tofu are our favorites. Pan fried noodles are also good, and cheap.

The best Chinese restaurant in the area!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/20/06
I know several people who drive up the hill to eat here. Good Chinese food, great service. Prices are excellent--you can get a large Hot-n-Sour soup to go for $4. Not a lot of parking on the weekends, but worth the wait.
