9/15/09 - Jackson is lacking quality eateries. This is about the best burger you will find in town. Easy access and good parking available. For this area, Jackson, I give Mel's 4 stars.

The quality and service hasn't changed. You can expect everything to be excellent. This is by far, the best place to get a burger in Jackson.

Great food! Great Service and you have to try the chocolate banana shake. Sourdough burger was great and had a lot of flavor. I'd reccomend it.

Never been on a weekend so I can't speak to the crowds then. The service I've received on the weekdays has been great.

We love Mel & Fayes very good service and great food. Might explain why they are so busy at times but always seem to make it work.

Even though it is a busy place to eat at, the food is like diner-type food, The Moo Burger can be a LITTLE messy, but it is worth it, along with their milk shakes. The breakfasts are very polular and quite good. After eating here, it is close to Downtown Jackson, you can walk around a bit and enjoy shopping.
