I just wanted to let someone know that the restaurant name is spelled incorrect. It is Cafe Beaujolais, not Cafa. If there is a way of fixing this so not to cause any confusion to your readers. I'm sure the owners would appreciate it. Thanks, A Reader

This place is amazing, beautiful grounds, warm, welcoming interior, and the food is the best gourmet food I've ever had. Granted, I'm not an expert, but it was amazing, well worth the price for the whole experience. At the time, they did not have any vegan items listed on the menu, however they were very accommodating and whipped up something delicious for me, I could not have asked for better.
The lamb was obscured by the intensity of the olive relish -- really over the top. But, the filet mignon was exceptional! Here, "upscale" equals "too expensive", nice atmosphere in tiny place, NO parking.

Cafe Beaujolais - a great find in Mendocino
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/06/05
This is a 'must visit' restaurant in Mendocino. Quite upscale, but excellent quality food, so well worth the price. We sat in the Atrium which is a wall-to-ceiling glass overlooking the garden - an amazing setting. The scallop appetizer and Halibut main course were delicious.
