Fab FoodRiver Inn had fast, friendly service, a casual atmosphere, modest prices, and great food. The hollandaise sauce was the best I've had in a restaurant--I'd have licked the plate if it weren't for restaurant manners. And River Inn is located conveniently near Armstrong Woods for a pleasant after-meal stroll.OVERALL

Fabulous FindThe River Inn in Guerneville was a fabulous find. The menu reminds me of an old time-diner with a wonderful Sonoma County twist. The prices were very reasonable, the servings were more than plentiful and the service was warm and friendly. 3 strikesWhat a bummer! This restaurant changed ownership about 2 years ago? Let me just say what a SAD day that was for Guerneville. The ~Old River Inn was a classic diner. This place (New River Inn) took out all of the cool vintage furnishings and made it into some lame wanna be California/diner??

Closes too early!I went there on a Saturday for a 8pm meal and found out that they're were closed. It seems that nowhere is open in this town to eat after 8pm...OVERALL

Was hoping for a better place to eatI have Breakfast and Lunch at the River Inn Grill and was not inpressed at all.. The Traditional Swedish Pancakes were very disapointed... What in the hell is Lingonberries... That is not what the Traditional Swedish pancakes was like before. and The amount of food was small..
