you better make a reservation ahead of time. the food is the best german food i had since speckmans closed on church street in san francisco. i trie to compare this to polish/german restaurant krackow in s.f. the sauerbraten was excellent, and so was the sauce. i reccomend mostly everything. even the stein of beer.

Good tasting, solidly prepared German food. Made & served by Swiss-German immigrants. Authentic flavors & presentation. It's a storefront in a strip shopping center. While their specialty is German/Swiss, they also do a great St. Pat" Day and Thanksgiving menu. Each item is well prepared and well presented.
I feel this is one of the best restaurants in Santa Rosa, although they specialize in Ferman food. The food is excellent; the service superbe and the ambiance is comfortable. Have never been dissapointed. Lorin
