Fantastic food. Servers and bartenders awesome. Bar stool are starting to show ware (holes) womens bathroom door lock was broken. I hope the owners invest in the repairs that need be before it starts looking run down.

Mu hysband & I tried to eat here once before, but it was too crowded. However, there was a Sharks game that day, so we decided to come back another time. This time there was plenty of seating for our group of 4.
Walking in, the modern ambiance was very impressive. The service was a little slow, but we weren't in a rush.
The bread was ...

Seven is a great place to eat before an event at the Arena or downtown San Jose...or anytime. The food is always prepared well with French influences. The menu is small but with diverse offerings and the wine list is pretty balanced. If you don't know what to order with dinner...just ask. They are knowledgeable and can usually steer you in the right direction. Overall, a very good dining experience at a fair price.

The menu is pretty limited, but most things we ordered were exceptionally well made (the owner was cooking the night we visited). The orange creamsicle cocktail is good and definitely save room for dessert - molten chocolate cake served with caramel fudge. Delicious!
The restaurant was noisy, we couldn't carry on a conversation, and our orders were not correct. My boyfriend ordered salmon and got chicken. No apologies or changes. We reserved a booth and got a table crammed next to an abnoxious, noisy couple. The food was fine, but we won't go back.
Last night was my third visit to 7 in 4 weeks. The restaurant is beautifully appointed, with a kitchen completely visible from the dining room. I've had the good fortune of having the same waiter, Conan, for all my visits. He's very enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. His descriptions and opinions of the menu items are very helpful. ...
After driving around the block a few times to find a parking place, I was a bit out of sorts as I walked into Seven. However, I immediately appreciated the minimal, industrial feel, balanced by the warm colors and light.
We were seated at a comfortable table, and were immediately served fresh bread and tall glasses of water. Our waiter was the ...
