This is the second time we visited. The first time I thought it was just lucky that the food was incredible, however, we came back a few months later and it was even better! We felt like we were on the Iron Chef and were "experiencing" the dinner not just eating. We just found our new favorite restaurant after living in WG for 15 years!

Our first visit since the change in ownership. We were not disappointed! Friendly, quick service. Great wine list, amazing entrees, thoughtful side dishes. We will definitely be back. It's nice to have a new dining option in WG.
Well worth a visit. Also great for a large party but you need a reservation to get their large room (which sits right on the sidewalk...cool effect). Give it a try!
Vin Santo is an absolute delight in the heart of Willow Glenn and rivals some of the best restaurants in Napa. Overall an outstanding experience starting with Susan's warm welcome, generous wine tastings to find the perfect wine, outstanding service (Greg the server versus Greg who is Susan's husband), outstanding variety of starters ...

Love Vin Santo
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/30/06
With two little kids, it is rare that we get out for a nice dinner. When we do get this opportunity, Vin Santo is usually at the top of the list of places that we go. Somehow, whenever we break from tradition, we are usually disappointed.
The food is top notch, the service is friendly and quick for as busy it gets. Wine selection is pretty ...

We Love It
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/07/05
As a previous reviewer wrote, you can't beat the walk downtown to The Grapevine for a little wine and cheese before heading over to see Susan and Greg at Vin Santo. For a great meal and even better atmosphere; they are one of our top choices. When you walk through the door, you feel like you just arrived in their home, and have known them for ...

A little Italy in Willow Glen
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/06/05
Great food, Susan and Greg really know their stuff! The community is charming - we started with wine tasting and a cheese course across the street at the Grapevine, had a great dinner at Vin Santo and ended with coffee and music at Coffee Roasting Company - fantastic evening - plus we could walk home!

Closest thing to a "scene" in Willow Glen
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/03/05
I tried Vin Santo for the first time on a Friday night and it definitely seems like the place to be seen in Willow Glen. Very busy (although no trouble getting a table at a good time through OpenTable with just 8 hours notice) with a packed bar and tables turning over well past 9 o'clock. Nice small covered outdoor area with a wall that opens ...

Italian food that stands out from the pack
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/01/05
You won't find the same old marinara & veal parmesan here. The chef strives for original takes on rustic Italian food, heavy on the meats, light on the cheese. Beautiful presentation, robust flavors, wine list full of California faves, excellent antipasto, delicious desserts. The place gets busy, so leave plenty of time to enjoy your meal.

best romantic place in Willow Glen
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/19/04
Well, Willow Glen is not (yet) Los Gatos but Vin Santo is definitely the most upscale restaurant in Willow Glen... Great staff, great food, and a very nice list of wines
