The food is fantastic, but the service is horrid. The waiters are rude and inattentive. For the money you will spend you might expect polite service, however that is not the case. Spend your money somewhere else.

The food here is great! Huge portions always make me happy! That's why I keep coming back here, year in and year out. I'm happy with the service, too.

OJ's is a family favorite that we have all enjoyed going to for years! Skip the wait and find seats at the counter. Being right up close to the cooks is always an awesome experience!

OJ's is a what a good old fashioned restraunt should be......good food, good service. HUGE portions, it's nice to have a choice of pasta as one of your sides. You better bring an appetite, because OJ's will leave you completely stuffed. My roomate and girlfriend always share their entree, and are both satisfied with their portion. If ...

I was told that I had to eat here or I would have wasted a trip to San Jose. They were right. Wanna hear the OJ idea of a steak sandwich? Take an 8" loaf of Italian bread. Tear the center out. Grill one large steak cooked to order (when I said "rare" it practically hoofed its way onto the plate). Put it on the mangled Italian bread ...

It is what it is. It's Original, it's Joe's. Us old school San Jose waps appreciate the authenticity, continuity and simplicity of OJ's. Nuthin better, nuthin different, nuthin new. Just good ol OJ's. For the guy whining about waiting for a seat and the menu not being updated, fuggedaboudit, have a nice time at Olive garden or ...

Not the place for a Vegan or elitist foodie, but if you crave good, tasty Italian American food, served in generous portions and a retro 50's atmosphere, Original Joe's in San Jose is the place for you. This is comfort food, served hot from uncomplicated recipes, simply seasoned. No trendy Tuscan grilled polenta, nor rosemary and panceta ...

Overpriced, overrated and horrific service! The "host" openly discriminates and gives preferential and quick service to businessmen and large parties. Very poorly managed. I am a strick vegetarian & the server gave me meat spaghetti instead of plain spaghetti. I was sick to my stomach & literally lost my lunch right there. Sooo not ...

The menu needs to be updated. I guess it a place to hit once maybe twice but San Jose has much more to offer. I dont understand the wait for a seat.

OJ's is the wonderful!! I'm a native San Josean, been visiting OJ's for years. I love, love the wait staff and the viddles. The waiters are like my long lost uncles. My favorite dish is the Fussilli noodles with white sauce, chicken and brocolli, didn't used to be on the menu, but I think it is now. My cousin (and best friend ) ...
