The service severely lacks since the remodel. My friends complained about it on different occasions and were berated by management. I decided to see for my self, and boy it was bad, which really stinks because I used to like the place.

I went to La Fondue for the first time last week. I will not be going back. The waiter we had talked so fast that we did not understand how to order. There were 4 of us. It was confusing. For the price the food was really mediocre. We spent $250 before tip.
The cheese fondue was bland, the grilling of the meats confusing because the orders got mixed up between couples. I did enjoy the chocolate dipped strawberries. Overpriced for the product.

Pricey but very unique. I have eaten here only once, but the unusual wide variety of meat and cheese dips made this a must do, at least once, if you live in the Bay area. They recently relocated down the street, and I have not been there since they re-opened.
