Decent fondue experience. The menu is a bit confusing, since the main focus is a "combination" idea where there are multiple columns of items and you have to select a certain number of ingredients from each column...it would be much better to have a single list to choose from, or even simply go a la carte with a reasonable price for a ...

The service severely lacks since the remodel. My friends complained about it on different occasions and were berated by management. I decided to see for my self, and boy it was bad, which really stinks because I used to like the place.

I don’t want to waste too much time typing. Just read the other reviews below 3 stars and most of my complaint are covered.

It’s too bad to see such a great place go downhill.

I will not return again, I have dined there 2 and both times service was bad. The first time the waiter would not close the door (December at 9pm), we asked the waiter to close the main door 3 times and still did not close it. The second time the waiter never helped us and we had to get the manager to get us stuff for the cheese and desert. When ...

La Fondue is much better than the melting pot in downtown San Jose. The quality, flavor, and ingredients are far superior. Normally, I don't appreciate pungent cheese but the odor of their cheese fondues is strong without being over powering. The court boullion fondue is also a winner...I prefer a slightly more subtle flavor for the main ...

I went to La Fondue for the first time last week. I will not be going back. The waiter we had talked so fast that we did not understand how to order. There were 4 of us. It was confusing. For the price the food was really mediocre. We spent $250 before tip.
The cheese fondue was bland, the grilling of the meats confusing because the orders got mixed up between couples. I did enjoy the chocolate dipped strawberries. Overpriced for the product.

Pricey but very unique. I have eaten here only once, but the unusual wide variety of meat and cheese dips made this a must do, at least once, if you live in the Bay area. They recently relocated down the street, and I have not been there since they re-opened.

Have been dining here for about 5 years and have always had a positive experience. Have brought everyone that I knew would enjoy fondue here. Just went to their new location which is just across the st yet on the same side they always have been over the weekend and WOW! The entry room is all MOD and Andy Warhol like. 60's GOGO style all the ...

Ok, it's a little bit of a gimmick, but, a fun place to take someone that has never "done" fondu...

Be prepared to eat a lot! I've never been here and left less than uncomfortably full... but, you just have to do the 4-course fondu meal.

With the full monte, you get a salad course, a cheese course, a main, and a desert ...
