Super nice owners/serversWe go to Cafe Carlos often enough that we know the owner/server/chef by name (it's Pepe). This is a family run business, that has fairly good mexican fare, and the folks there are just too nice for words. The atmosphere/ambiance could use work, but it's typical for a hole-in-the-wall type of place. Food is great. I love their fresh salsa!OVERALL

Hot SalsaTemperature-wise anyway. They warm the salsa, which I've never seen anywhere else, and is actually really good. Be sure to order a drink because otherwise you're stuck with ultra-chlorinated Scotts Valley water-- and nobody likes that. The margaritas are of the frozen blended variety, and so you wind up with the no-flavor-left-in-my-slurpee ...SHOW FULL REVIEW
