We had a wonderful time and could not think of a better place to relax and hang out. Winchester has alot of things to occupy your time and we caught a civil war reinactment while in town. We first saw this place on http://www.wincfood.com and decided to give it a try. We will definately return and hope that others try this little gem.

I enjoyed my stay so much that I plan to go back with my husband and a friend, just so I can spend more time at the Inn!

This was our first trip to Winchester but it won't be our last! The Nancy Shepherd House is a wonderfully relaxing,charming ,historic home. You are surrounded by history yet it has such a comfortable feel. When we met the host, David, he was a stranger. After 3 days with him, he was family . We highly recommend a stay at the Nancy Shepherd House Inn in Winchester, VA. It is within walking distance to Old Town Winchester, great dining and quaint shops. To stay at the Inn is to be surrounded and delighted by over 200 years of history yet with modern conviences. Check it out!!

I find it to be a great location for many things....it is in a fantastic location as a homebase for touring Civil War-related sites in the Valley, or if one just needs a getaway from the big-city routine.....lots of shopping destinations, dining---many opportunities to relax....If you want to simply relax at the Nancy Shepherd House, it has an Ale ...
