One of my favorite places! What I love about Shadowbrook is the warm, rich yet unstuffy atmosphere. A great place for everyone. I've gone there in some of my nicest dress clothes for a special occasion, as well shorts and flip flops for "spur of the moments" things, and I am aways treated the same. The service is usually spot on. The ...

My wife and I live in Campbell, CA and had business in Fremont, CA on 1/18/2008.

Shadowbrook is a Capitola must. It really does have a special ambiance with its cable car and beautiful gardens. The food is decent, I wouldn't say that it there is anything on the menu that stands out, but the food is comparable to most any other "special occassion" restaurant. The wait staff has always been friendly, although I have ...

My wife insists we come here every year for our wedding anniversary. Beautiful gardens and walk to the restaurant (unless you take the cable elevator down...which my wife is scared of). The food is delicious and the service is fabulous. The steak and lobster is absolutely worth it. Expect to spend money, but the experience is worth it.

Great brunch and bar!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/02/06
For those of you who have enjoyed the Shadowbrook in the evening for a romantic dinner ... you need to stop by for brunch on Sunday. The atmosphere is a tad more relaxed ... the views are even more beautiful during the day ... and of course ... the bar is open!
