This place is magic....
it does something to ya.
Went with my husband for a romantic getaway (we live in about hour and a half drive from Napa).From the moment we arrived, i felt special.Super friendly and attentive staff welcomed us, showed to our room.The surroundings are of a europeane nature - sometimes it reminded me Greece, sometimes ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

It has the most beautiful view and a great staff serving but the food, with a few exceptions, is not good. It is not that it isn't fresh and creative. It is. But I think that the chef has gone over the top in trying to be creative. There was not a good desert, for example. Stellar Cuisine in a Divine, Relaxing SettingAuberge du Soleil is located at the top of a country drive in between St. Helena and Calistoga. The building is peach toned and the dining area includes an outdoor patio with an expansive view of the valley and its vineyards. The deck is weathered old gray redwood.
