I've honestly have never eaten at this place. However, my husband owns the AWESOME Barber Shop accross the street (Milton's Barber Shop) and he's brought home a pecan pie from JD's a few times. Lemme tell you that this pie is to DIE for. If you like rich, sweet goodness, this is the place to go!

If you're looking for a place with fantastic breakfasts that taste like home cooked food and not packaged reheats, then JD's is perfect for you. My favorite is corned beef, hash, and eggs but it's hard to go wrong with any of the food. Pancakes are great and most importantly, at least for me, the coffee is top notch which for some odd reason is rare at breakfast houses.

It's small and has a charming local feel.

Good breakfast place, lots of variety on the menu, i recall having a seafood omelette here and it being very tasty and reasonably priced, another CV institution....they have outdoor seating as will which is partially covered keeping you out of sun if you so desire...get a mimosa if you're not too hungover, or maybe especially if you are ;)

This is little jewel has been around forever. Great food and Great people! You get what you pay for! So many people pass by it and have no idea! Check it out!!!
