I love this place...not only for the sentimental reasons, but the food isn't so bad either. Not the BEST, but not bad. The Clam Chowder is fantastic though. I've been going there all my life (which is a pretty long time). Lots of memories and it's good to have a little bit of old Antioch still alive (instead of all the same ole' chain restaurants that fill SE Antioch).
I have lived in the area since 1988 and have not had a good meal at this restaurant. The food tastes as old as the restaurant itself. the service is slow and you have to wait an extremely time to, first get your order taken then an eternity to get your food. We had our waitress ask us if anyone had taken our order and we told her that she took it about 30 minutes before. I have to go to the golf courses for a good seafood meal.
