Service is excellent, very nice atmosphere. Price is fair. The food is absolutely fantastic, some of the best in town!
Can you tell I like this restaurant? It's one of my favorite haunts.

Here is my problem with the place: As we waited for a table we noticed the table near the door had these delicious looking appetizers. After we sat down our waitress (who was not friendly at all) STRIKE ONE asked us what we'd like to order for an appetizer. We said we'd like to order the scallops that the table near the door had ordered. ...

Oh , Sure I can go home and cook nice chinese fusion masterpieces at home .. But why when I can go to The House and have great food and no wash dishes after..... I think The House is just what San Francisco needs ....and I hope will continue to be part of the city for long time..... My fortune cookie says............. Thank You..........

A very popular place, reservations definitely recommended unless you want an excuse to visit one of the bars nearby. The food is outstanding. I had the ahi tuna tartare as appetizer, it was a little spicy and just excellent. As main course I chose the pork chops and there was nothing to regret it was delicious. Now I am just looking for an excuse to go there again ;)

The food is Asian fusion but the Asian influence is subtle with the use of Asian inspired sauces or vegetables as the dishes are very traditionally ...

Best "unknown" place in the City
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/05/06
I'm amazed at how many SF locals do not know about this restaurant. It has been around for a number of years (I've been going since 1996), and it is simply outstanding.
Perhaps "the" signature dish is the Chilean Sea Bass with a Ginger/Soy glaze. It is perhaps the best piece of fish you'll ever have. The accompanying ...
This restaurant is one of the first restaurants to provide California cuisine in San Francisco. Food is consistently delicious. The service is friendly. It is a great neighborhood restaurant and it makes you keep on coming back.

If you go for lunch, order the Korean short ribs and ask for the garlic noodles instead of the rice. Caesar salad has creamy and intense, garlicky dressing that I love. Prices have gone up a bit but still worth it. Be prepared to be squeezed in.
