Okay, so chop me into little pieces and serve me with a dipping sauce, but I just don't get the buzz about Aziza.
It's not that the food isn't tasty and creative and all that--but it's just so over priced! I mean for the $100 we spent (and wife doesn't even drink booze!) I think there are a lot better meals to be had in the ...

I recently went with four friends to this restaurant on a Friday night -late around 9:30 pm without reservations and was put off at the beginning. When we asked how long the wait would be the hostess (with an attitude) said it would be at least 30-45 minutes, but we noticed that six tables in our immediate proximity were empty. We got over the ...

  • Wonderful food
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/23/07
I've only been to Aziza once, but the 6 of us got the tasting menu so I think we probably tasted at least half of the items on the menu. While Aziza is definitely not cheap, the food is really wonderful. I had the best lamb here that I have ever had in my entire life. The drink menu is quite fun, and every dish I tried was excellent. The atmosphere is quite romantic and beautiful.

  • Aziza has peaked
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/29/06
I've been a patron of Aziza's for the past three years of my life in San Francisco. I use to consider it the height of Moroccan cuisine with it's creative blending of new and old in its authentic dishes, warm, romantic ambiance and stellar cocktail menu. My favorite things at Aziza's were the mint tea, Janet Rikala Dalton's ...

  • Wonderful neighborhood restaurant
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/06
Fantastic moroccan restaurant in the Richmond district. I recommend the basteeya (stuffed phyllo pie), spicy lamb sausages and mediterranean spreads as appetizers. I've tried the grilled lamb brochettes and couscous Aziza entrees which were both very good. The ambiance is warm and inviting, good for dates as well as for larger groups. They no ...

  • Moraccan at its best
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/13/06
Although no authentic Moraccan cuisine, the fusion of styles make this place a must eat. The drinks are great as well.

After all the great hype I finally decided to give it a try. All I can say is I regret not having known this place sooner! The food is great, the ambiance is great! Perfect!

  • Most Romatic Restaurant in San Francisco
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/21/06
Aziza is the most romatic restaurant in San Francisco-- and a good value too!
You start out by walking though some veils at the entrance to the lush, cozy, warm, and darkish interior. The colors on the interior are mostly hues of reds mix with earth-tones of other colors. I sat against a padded throne-like bench, lined with compy pillows. The ...

  • Exceptional!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/26/06
Aziza is an amazing mediterranean restaurant in the inner Richmond district. The ambiance is sophisticated and perfect for a romantic dinner or a group gathering for a birthday party, etc. The service was better than perfect, and the food... Ah the food! It was a pure 'delice'. We had the four course dinner and everything was great, from ...
