Great patio dining. Very good food. Great bar. Friendly staff. Definitly make this a stop if you're looking for a place in P.A.

I had Sunday brunch there and the French toast and waffles were perfectly done. They came with yogurt, bananas and some other fresh fruit. The Mimosa was excellent too. The best part is the outdoor seating area which is spacious with a nice mix of sun and shade and there isn't a lot of noise from the street.

I love this place. Not that it has the best of any one thing, but because it is solid in all regards. It has character, indoor and outdoor seating, good food and drinks, some sports, and a great location.

Empire Tap Room used to be a nice central location to meet up for brunch or late afternoon happy hour. They have an outdoor space with heat lamps for when the temperature dips. The last two times I went we were turned away because they were hosting a private party. I've also been told we'd have a long wait on other visits. Very disappointed ...

The atmosphere is great for both indoor and outdoor. I love the outdoor seating. The last couple time we were there, we've got consistently bad service. Waiters are unprofessional. We have to wait a long time to get their attention. Food is not too bad. Some good some bad. The mussels are not good.

I've been here several times now, and the food has been consistently terrific (good steaks, solid pasta, great french fries). The service? Not so consistent. Sometimes the wait staff has been very attentive, and at other times gone for long stretches. I don't mind so much, though, because the outdoor seating just relaxes me, and the heat lamps keep it from getting too chilly. Great place overall, and get the apple pie a la mode!

I ordered an eggplant, mushroom pizza. Well you needed a magnifying glass to find the eggplant and mushroom. Very bland with no taste. I've had better pizzas at Fandango's and Round Table.

The ambiance is great, the presentation of the plate lovely, but the food was terribly disappointing and a poor value. I had a very uninspiring chinese chicken salad for lunch.
