Food here is delicious. When I went on Saturday afternoon, they had my favorite fish - Sanddabs and they cooked it just right, the way you get it if you were in Monterey. It was not bland at all. It has that old world charm and I welcome that especially in san francisco where there are alot of trendy gourmet places. I guess if you're not from ...

I read all of the reviews today 10/15/08 and went for lunch.
Food was bland, the atmosphere was loud and noise, the service was not great. I ordered soup which never arrived, they tried to serve me burned bread, the salad dressing was runny and plain old oil. Restaurant may have been there for many years but I won't be going back. ...

My father in law took me to this place and it is tremendous. If you down grade this restaurant you don't need to be rating restaurants. A little pricey but well worth it.

This is the most overrated restaurant in SF. The food is bland and the recipies are outdated. The service is great, but that doesn't make up for the overpriced dishes.

Great food and atmosphere! I had breakfast for dinner and it was just as amazing as the lunches I have had. The wait staff was some of the most professional I have ever seen.

The food was very good, but when we got there, there was no line, and were seated right away. We tried to ask our server what was in a certain dish, and were curtly rebuffed with something to the effect that it was all good, IE, dont waste his time. We had our elderly parents along and decided to have one "spendy" meal while in SF. My ...

Gee, what a surprise to see this place still exists. I remember my parents taking me there as a kid back in the '60s! I don't remember much about the food, but obviously it had a reputation even back then. I hope it survives another 40-50 years.

Ordering the seafood saute is a must at Tadich. The best dish in the house. I used to go there all the time when I lived in SF.

Always great food with one of the best wait staffs in the city. is it narrow? yes, so what. another great item, most days the owner/manager "mike" is at the cash register, who is either 3rd or 4th generation at Tadich. i have been going here for more than 20 years.
