Good, though not mindblowing California fusiony food. My goat cheese fondue was awesome (notr a lot you can do wrong here, the Cobb salad was somewhat bleh and soggy. They had Pilsner beer, always a plus. The staff was of select politeness and swiftness. Mixed Mission patrons, from the student via the hightech worker to the well-off NPR burgeois. Dark place, yet still cozy.

Dark & Delicious

I've been to Luna Park twice so far and both times my meals were flawless and so was someone elses. The Staff: hmmm...attentive and on top of the game first time around. Second time mediocre and delivery of an incorrect order - still a delicious plate, but not mine, good recovery though. The restaurant: a little loud, and a bit dark & gothic ...
The waitstaff and bartenders are so nice here, and the food is so great. The only thing is that it's a little small. I love it!

Fabulous mojitos

I love the unpretentious atmosphere and shabby chique decor. Yes, the mojitos are the best and the food is a great value. Parking is insane.

Luna Park: Even better than the first time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/02/05
This is one of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco. Great food, relaxed atmosphere. Nothing pretentious. It feels like a neighborhood restaurant .. but it delivers first-class California cuisine. I suggest the Warm Goat Cheese Fondue with Grilled Bread and Sliced Apples. For the entre - I ordered the Rigatoni with Spicy Sausage Ragout ...

Terrific restaraunt, Horrific Hostess
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/18/05
First the good-- the atmosphere is ultra-cool without being stuffy, the food was outstanding, and the waiter was great. So why wasn't it perfect/5-star? One of the rudest hostesses I have ever experienced-- we had 7P reservations on a Fri night and when I realized due to 101 traffic, we would be a bit late, I called to notify them. The ...
