Good turkish food, terrible neighborhood
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/05/06
The food is very tasty and cheap. If you are going to Edinburgh Castle for a show or happen to find yourself on Geary and Larkin, its a great place to grab a yummy meal. Very friendly service.

Al La Turka-- Consistantly Good Food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/06
Al La Turka has been a steady favorite of mine. The nieghborhood isn't fantastic, but the food is, and the prices are quite reasonable. The service is friendly and fast. I don't ever recall eating anything there that I didn't think was delicious, and I have returned time and time again for great meals. I particularly enjoy the rice, the wraps, and the lamb dishes. I definately recommend this restaurant.
