If I could have rated it a zero I would. We went with a party of 7 and every single one of us said the same thing. The food was awful!!!!! I can't believe it is rated so highly. There are so many more wonderful restaurants in the area. Service was so so. We ordered water in a bottle and they kept mixing tap water with our bottled water. ...

Service and ambiance was great, food was OK. I had the lamb. Lamb loin was good but the other tasted like Asian(SE regions) style beef stew. My girlfriend had the sea scallops. Not the best scallops we have eaten and the truffle gnocchi tasted very similar to Chef Boyardee ravioli shell. Go figure that as people get older their taste revert back to ...

My wife and I have eaten at some wonderful restaurants and must say that Fleur De Lys was one of the best. Their sauces were outstanding, the service friendly, and the whole dining experience just outstanding

Not so impressed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/20/07
After dining at Gary Danko it was hard to be impressed. Fleur de lys did have some great dishes but the appetizers sort of threw things off a little. The Lobster soup with truffles had a little too much of a vinegar taste to it and sort of threw my taste buds off. My wifes asparagus salad was more of a mousse than a salad and had more of a ...
I have been coming to this restaurant since Maurice took over in 1970 and the food as not been any better since Hubert took over the "cuisine"but on the negative side the dress code as been"laisser faire" and they allow jeans tennis shoes, sweat shirts ,teeshirts etc. .My problem is this ,When I go out and are willing to spend ...

Fantastic restaurant to enjoy with someone special
The food has always been divine and it isn’t so noisy that you can’t hear your dinner companion. Gracious service.

Highbrow and high prices, but impeccable

Awesome food, decoration, service, and oh did I mention FOOD? French but not as fussy as you'll find in France, our meal was outstanding. Probably the best filet mignon I've ever had, and I've had a lot of them. Not everything was as amazing as you might find in some 5-star european restaurants, but on the whole, still pretty ...

Most romantic- Paris in San Francisco
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
My husband took me to Fleur De Lys for my birthday and I loved the restaurant as soon as I walked in- the bar is small but has beutiful candles, teh main restaurant has a beautiful canopy- try and sit in that area if possible. The service was great- the only complaint I had was that we were running late for our play and had to skip dessert- which ...
Classic Alcasian restaurant with subtle San Francisco touches. The dining room in quiet and you sit at tables much larger than other restaurants might give you for your party size under a tented roof. The 6 course vegetarian tasting menu is, by far, the best I have ever tasted or seen -- it is an hommage to truffles (think white bean and truffle ...
