I ordered a few dishes for pickup. When I reached home after the picup , I found out I got what I didn't order. When I called to tell lady at the counter, she pretended she could not hear me and hung upon me! My wife then called her and voila, she could hear her now. Anyways, the lady flatly denied of any mistake on her part and refused to credit back for the food. I've been going there for years but this will be the end of it.

Great location and food

Went there a couple of times with friends. Authentic spicy Chinese food. Reasonable prices. Great location right on Castro with easy parking across street. Highly recommended.
I'm not sure that the meat used in this dish even checks out as beef. It was so rubbery I could only manage several bites. However, my wife, her brother, and his wife lauded their individual dishes. Also, the staff were very nice. So, I guess you'll be okay as long as you avoid the Szechuan beef. Funny, I'm the one that suggested the restaurant.

Pretty Good

This is just about the best Chinese restaurant on Castro Street, a street full of Chinese Restaurants! I highly recommend asking for some of the dishes on the "secret" menu that is written in Chinese. It has several dishes that are not listed on the regular English menu including Chinese vegetables and fish dishes.
