We live in the East Bay. When we visit HMB, we always stop there for lunch, or brunch, or just for drinks. It's great food! Highly recommended.

We went there for dinner and really enjoyed our experience. The menu had a good variety of dishes unlike many beach restaurants. The food was a little salty for me (I prefer bland/less salty food), but they were good.
As many have posted, the location of the restaurant is just great. It is right on the beach so the view is amazing.

My husband and I love this resturant. I read someone elses review saying it is not family friendly, not true. I took my sister and her two infants for dinner there on mother's day and we were treated very well. The food is excellent, definitely worth trying. The views are fabulous a romantic date place too, I go there on our wedding anniversaries.

The food here is good. Salmon sandwich and steak sandwich are very good. Drinks are flammable. View is great. Parking is easy. Service was good. Only reasons this was not a five star rating is the bread was marginal (very plain) and the carpet is filthy and needs to be replaced. The fact that it used to be a brothel, etc. and is very old is not an excuse to keep old carpet!
