Alana's is a tiny, cozy, restaurant featuring wholesome home-cooked meals. The oatmeal pancakes are incredible, make sure to get these with the lingonberry jam. The sausage is good as well! The scrambles are a little bland- the tomatoes in them were light pink and mealy, the eggs are dry and they mix the cheese in, which I do not prefer over ...

  • Sunday morning treat in downtown Burlingame
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/10/06
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Going to Alana's is a real treat. I am usually a big egg fan ordering the usual benedict, scambles, and omelettes. • Gem of a Restaurant

We found Alana's from visiting it's now closed counterpart in Redwood City. It's a hole-in-the-wall on Burlingame Avenue next to the Cigar Shop and we've found it to be a very down-to-earth, family owned restaurant that serves delicious food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

We've always enjoyed going to Alana's for breakfast before shopping on Burlingame Avenue. It's a cute little place with good service and a cheerful atmosphere.

With Christys around the corner and Nini's down the street, I see no reason why you should ever go here. There are better places all within walking distance
