We had our small family wedding on the patio and what a wonderful time we had! The view is spectacular and the staff was very helpful and accomodating. We were able to set up our sound system early and have the gazebo decorated by Shirl*e's Flowers with ease. Our dinner inside was delicious and the staff was attentive. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Not worth the money, not even for the view. Decor is old and gives off a stuffy/musty feeling. Food was not good and WAY overpriced. Go to another place a little further south.

Can't beat the view especially if you can get seating outdoors, weather permitting. Have gone their many times over the years, found service is very average, food prices are high for the quality you receive. Go there for the romantic view, I usually get the $12.00 mediocre cheeseburger. (might be higher priced now) Should be rated two stars, but the ocean view makes up for the what I have mentioned, so I gave it an extra star.

This was my second visit to Rocky Point. My first visit was a few years ago and it was bad. let me say that it has declined since my last visit. Rocky Point has THE BEST VIEW on the Peninsula! The drive (11 miles)only takes 15 minutes from Carmel, but it's a beautiful drive and I don't have to worry about parking! I take friends, family and out-of-town guests there for lunch or the sunset dinner. I always order their jumbo prawns for dinner, or the hamburger for lunch on the ocean terrace. Service can be slow on the terrace, but who cares?

I decided to drive to Rocky Point Restaurant in Carmel and spend time in the area although it was already close to lunch.

I come here for the view. They have a wonderful deck where you can sit. It overlooks the ocean and is perched practically on a bluff. They only serve appetizers, sandwiches, and dessert on the deck. I have been here three times in the last year and half or so, but have only ever sat on the deck, so I cannot comment on the inside real restaurant ...

Go for the view- not the food. Probably the best view in Monterey County!

we really enjoyed our visit. we got there early and had the place to ourselves. the food was wonderful. We both had the eggs benedict with avacado instead of ham.
