The food would have been "average" at $10 to $20. It was a very poor value at the price we paid.

Lived in Oakhurst for over four years, but never went to Erna's until last summer for a special anniversary dinner. First off, I'm more of a jeans and t-shirt kinda gal who does not dine at elegant restaurants but once or twice a decade...but I love a reason to get dressed up. Okay, as for the experience...nutshell: great experience. ...

My husband and I love elegant dining and excellent cuisine. We’ve visited first-class restaurants not only in the States but also in Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Turkey. I always enjoy the opportunity to shoot weddings here. There are so many great options, colors, and angles.

  • The perfect romantic getaway
    By TIFFANY T, 09/25/05
Erna's Elderberry house has excellent service and delicious food. The restaraunt also has a nice romantic setting. It's perfect for an anniversary or any special occasion. However at $85 a person I wouldn't recommend it for the whole family. This would also not be a place for any picky eaters as they only serve one thing each night. Its also definitly not a place for children.

  • Expensive, but worth every penny

We stayed at the adjoining Chateau Du Sureau for Valentine's Day last year, and the entire experience was incredible. They made a custom menu just for us and the wine kept coming when we ordered the paired flights.
