I have eaten hear for many years. I love the clam chowder, friends say it is just like my own homemade chowder and I agree: it's great! This chowder is famous and it is shipped frozen all over the world. It is thick, rich, creamy and delicious.

I also very much enjoy the Jumbo prawns and chips, the steamer clams and the fried salmon ...

Went to the splash cafe on advice from a family member, went around noon time so it was busy, but we got seats, and our food was brought out rather quickly for the amount of people in the cafe. And the food was excellent, and the prices were really good I have to say, I was shocked they were so reasonable for the location of the the cafe and its reputation. I would eat here again and again.

I've been coming here for many years. Recently I was in an accident and needed to sit. When I entered some people at the window got up and offered me and my friend the table in order for me to be comfortable. The food was wonderful, the people GREAT, and I recommend it to everyone that comes to town. This is where I take people to impress them and show them the local life.

The lines are long and the dining is glorified roach coach, but they do something to the bread that makes me dream about it being dipped in the chowder. And I don't even really like seafood. The $2.50 grilled cheese is yummy (also dipped in the chowder, of course.) We eat it at least daily when we come to Pismo. Mmmm. No other place around has this kinds of crowds, even at 2pm.

I love this place!!!! Everything is good. Always worth the wait. THE BEST PLACE TO EAT ON POMEROY STREET.

this is the BEST place in our openion, for chowder and the fish! we go often to pismo and hit the splash every time. LOVE IT!

Like (most) everyone else reviewing, what's not to love. The nicest people work here along with a friendly lunch crowd. Has a real classic charm w/ no hype. Hint: get the seafood topping on the clam chowder bowl & the bread toasted - THE BEST!!

They made realy good clam chowder. They have good fish and chips too. It is very crowed sometime and hard to find sit inside.
