    This restaurant closed years ago, re-opened a few years later at two different locations and is now closed again for good due to health reasons.

    Cabernet Bistro is our first eating destination when we visit Solvang. Jacques & Diana always provide a pleasant, warm atmosphere, along with some of the finest food we've ever eaten. I love the duck, in all its various preparations; my wife loves the veal. We both enjoy the selections of fine wines and the chance to greet the Owners. ...

  • Sublime evening in Solvang

    We were in the area the weekend of 1/27/06 for a soccer tournament and had the opportunity to go to dinner sans offspring. We chose Cabernet French Bistro because we love duck, french food and good wine. I had a delicious warm spinach salad and duck confit in a delicate berry sauce. (They were out of the foie gras!)
