I have enjoyed Alex's since about 1975, great food, near the beach Wow just remembered how much I loved the London Broil years ago.. Why haven't I ordered that lately? I usually get the rib steak or tri tip. Always fresh, always good.

Sub par and way over priced. BBQ places are supposed to be shacks and joints, not fine dining experiences. Just like all the rest of the overpriced unoriginal Central Coast BBQ.

My family and I went to Alex BBQ for lunch recently. I think this is the best BBQ I have ever tasted, all around! The food was yummy. However, It was kinda expensive. You could split with a friend and buy an extra plate of sides for fairly decent price

This place has been a family favorite of ours for MANY MANY years! We just loving goings to Alex's! The filet is awesome, and the ribs are the best that i have ever tasted!

are here!! I try to vacation in Pismo every year and when I do, I don't leave
without eating @ Alex's. The service is just fine & the place as far as looks is an old fashioned home style feel. But really folks, I am there for the ribs!!! So, do yourself a favor and see for yourself.

This is the place for ribs. For other BBQ Moe's may be my fav, but Alex is the king of ribs.

The food and service are excellant. The seating is uncomfortable, boths are low, so if you're tall get a table. Bar draws wild crowd late night. Excellent dining room staff. Lots of condiments and huge platters of food. In an area where everyone claims to have the best clam chowder, this place truly does.
