Pepe's has always been a favorite...although the wait can be excessive and the service isn't always the best. The food doesn't disappoint and is usually worth the wait. I would suggest getting there early on a Friday or Saturday night!

We waited over 1 hour for our food to arrive and when it finally came it was not what I ordered and the food was cold. The chips and salsa are not Our waitress was NOT the friendlies (I know she is a long term employee as I am a local native of SLO). I WILL not be patronizing this restaurant any longer and will let my fellow coworkers, family and friends know of their lowering standards of business.

I did not like this restaurant. I would definetly recommend Vallarta's which is a few blocks down over Pepe Delgado's. The salsa tasted like tomato paste, and it came in a tiny bowl. They got our order wrong, and I didn't enjoy my experience there. I hear a lot of people like it, but I'm just not one of them.

I have been here tons of times and each time I love the place even more!
The best chicken enchiladas, lots of cheese(maybe too much cheese if you dont like cheese that much). I took my boyfriend for his birthday and the waitress gave him 2 free tequila shots!!!! I'm not sure if they do this for every birthday but it was a nice treat. I definitly reccomend this place!!
