Why does it always have to be 1 star or 5 stars? That's the problem with the online generation..major overreaction to everything. I've been to dozens of indian in NY, Chicago, San Fran, LA, Orange County, etc etc. This place is .... about average. No one dish is particularly good, but then it's not bad if you need an Indian fix. ...

We are fortunate to have such an excellent restaurant in South Orange County. My family and I have never had a bad meal or a substandard dish here.
We go to Natraj on special occasions: birthdays, anniversaries, etc. I have traveled over much of the world, lived in Chicago, Houston, Miami, L.A. and Tokyo, and this restaurant ranks right up there ...

We've been going here for a few years now and I was really surprised to see that they dont have a higher rating. There food is excellent, service is always good, the decor is a little outdated and it's only in a strip mall shopping center store but for good indian food at a reasonable price this is a great option. Didnt give it 5 stars simply because it does lack a little in the atmosphere/ambiance department.

I have been here umpteen times and love it.I especially love the sunday brunch with is more expensive but has more to choose from including lamb dished and a smashing egg curry. Also a mango lassi is included in the price so how can you complain about that?yum.

Natraj the name creates a havoc in me. The food is not that great and above all looks like he serves left overs / outdated food.

We have had a terrible experience at this restaurant.

If I have to give a star, I think I would think twice as it isnt worth a single star too.

I would never ever recommend this restaurant to any.

Hopless service and management with no morals.

Natraj is great! I love the food! My family and I have been there several times and plan on going many more. Staff is friendly, we never wait too long for our food. Anyone who has told me they have been there, love it also. A co worker actually told me about it about 3 years ago, shortly after I was introduced to Indian food:o) I love spicy ...

  • STAY AWAY
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/12/06
Unfortunately we will not be returning to this restaurant not because of the food but the service if HORRIFYING. If you plan on dining there make sure you have no other plans that evening and that you've eaten before because they make you wait so long (in an unfilled restaurant) that you will undoubtedly be starving when you get your dinner ...

  • Amazing variety and a great buffet
    By John, 09/20/05
This little Indian joint tucked away in a strip mall next to BigLots must be a well kept secret, because the place is never very busy but is usually filled with indian families and other regulars from the area. Perfect samosas, tasty naan, an original take on the standard dishes and a few of their own creation make this place (so far) the best ...

  • I'm a Fan for Life of Natraj!
    By Wilsie1, 09/19/05
Having grown up in South Africa and being spoiled with top class Indian curries and delights allmy adult life, it was hard to find the equivalent here in California. Now that I've found the Natraj, I need look no further. You can't beat the daily brunch from 11 - 3pm - especially on a Sunday when the food selection is at its finest. The ...
