Had breakfast there and will not go back. My husband had potatoes with his breakfast and they were so thin, it was like eating potatoe chips. The beans were dry, almost as dry as the potatoes. The menudo meat was sliced so small, it was like slivered meat, and had no flavor.

consuelo's is my favorite place to eat in banning. the food is great, the kitchen is kept super clean. anything on the menu is a good choice, service is always great. they make a point to get to know their regulars. consuelo's really needs to open weekends though, or atleast saturdays. but it is the top place in banning to stuff your face. make it for the menudo on fridays, it is splendid.

Something so simple is so delicious.
Their menu is large but for some reason I can't get enough of thier bean burritos. Everything is so authentic and delicious. In the past, I wasn't able to eat the green burritos, but now they are my favorite. The service is FRIENDLY but alittle slow, only because everything is so FRESH!
You gotta try it!
