It's no wonder that this small restaurant is always full. The food we tried there was well prepared and of excellent quality. The steamed small pork buns were excellent. It is definitely among the best Chinese restaurants in San Diego. The only disadvantage is that it's not open very late.

"Asian perfection...loved the chili oil..."
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/15/05
Asian perfection, loved the chili oil on the tables. The jelly fish, yes, jelly fish was exciting, filled with thermal texture and crisp freshnes. My choice of Schezwan Pork was sumptuous, accompanied by crunchy veggies, onions, cabbage, mushrooms, and carrots. I forgot to ask for snow peas! The ambiance is nonexistent, unless you are observant of the cultural pearls around. I would wait an hour to eat here again.
Dumpling Inn has great Chinese food and has been a favorite place of mine for many years. Their pot stickers are always a treat, and their orange chicken is the best! While the place is small and sometimes hard to get a table, it's always worth the wait. Their menu has enough to appeal to both fans of traditional Chinese food and Americanized Chinese food. It's the only restaurant I have listed in my cell phone.

Dumplings!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/16/05
The closest you'll get in SD to those famous dumpling places in LA! The dumplings are excellent, but the other dishes on the menu are also good too - and at a very reasonable price. This place is small and gets busy fast, so get there early! Remember: Not open on Mondays!
