This is the best place in San Diego for Dim Sum,, No it's not China Town in Los Angeles, But a good place all the same. If you don't get what you're looking for here, and you don't ask for it, then, you are too stupid to eat out, anyway. BTW, most of you complainers are truly morons.

My wife and I had a great Sunday morning dim sum brunch. We arrived early, at about 10:20 AM, and the place was only about 1/4 full. By the time we left at about 11:00 AM it was full but no line yet. We had four very good dishes and tea for $20. We will be back for sure.

This place is HORRIBLE, the food is not any better and it's overpriced. The WORST customer service ever, just wasn't worth the wait for the food. Stay away from this place even if you can speak Chinese.

Went in for breakfast last saturday. The wait was 30 mins. There were not enough waiters. It took a long time to get our food. Customer service definitely needs to be changed. 30 mins to get drinks is rediculous.

The food is ok...but the service is horrible. Even getting a glass of water is difficult. They're way understaffed. Talked to the manager and he's an a$$. I guess they don't really care. I'm never coming back to this place.

I had a dinner about two weeks ago. The food was great and the price was reasonable. I like authentic Cantonese seafood. We got great service, probably because we talked with the waiters in Cantonese (or Chinese). Will definitely go back when I go to San Diego next time.

I dont have alot of experience with Dim Sum...but I remember this place being excellent. Very authentic, as 99% of the clientel were asian. Big pit boss type dudes ala James Bond's Odd Job hanging around overseeing...twwas good.

Not too bad for San Diego Dim Sum
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/07/07
I recently revisited Jasmine for their Dim Sum. I haven't been here since I first moved here 5 years ago, so I thought I would give it a second try. Overall, the food was good, but the selection was not quite as big if you go to a LA Dim Sum restaurant. Different dishes had their pluses and minuses. Some foods that I had seen walking to ...

Love Jasmine.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/03/07
I have eaten here many times and love it. The food is always good. Love all the carts flying by the table with assortments of all kinds of goodies. VERY inexpensive. A table of ten can eat here for the same price as a table for two at any other restaurant.
If you are looking for Chinese food like Panda Express serves, this is not your place.
Make sure to get here early. The restaurant gets quite busy. .

Excellent Dim Sum and Fresh Seafood
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/26/07
Most dim sum places in Hong Kong are big. So is Jasmine. There's great selection of food. Prices are reasonable. Food tastes great. This is a pretty well-known place in the Chinese community - been here a lot for weddings, meetings, and stuff.
