I go to Berta's every time I visit San Diego. Haven't had a bad dish yet, or even a boring one. The menu offers dishes from all over Latin America, so it's incredibly diverse (it's NOT a Mexican restaurant, so don't be surprised to find different flavors than you're used to). The lamb and pork are fantastic. Friends of mine love the seafood too.
