We usually order take out from here because the service is slow even when it's not that busy. The food is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone visiting San Diego.

In our years of going out together in San Diego, Panda Inn has been our all-time favorite. The Horton Plaza restaurant is very special because of its lovely location, and the fun of walking through the plaza together after the delicious meal. The food is always wonderful, and it's a great place for a date!

The Honey Walnut Shrimp and the Panda Beef are must haves!! It seems expensive when you first look at the menu. But one entree is enough to serve two reasonably hungry adults. Don't let the fact that it's in the mall put you off. This restaurant is excellent.
