Went in for dinner a little while back, was a little hesitant considering the restaurant was practically empty. Ordered a salad to start was just plain awful consisting of solely fennel and a pathetic attempt at a dressing. Went on to the main course and was not expecting much but still managed to mess up grilled salmon. They have a good concept of serving fresh, healthy food but they need to work on the taste of the food first.

Went to the BGC in Encinitas for the first time (7/4/08)...truely outstanding food. I had the calamari roll - second best calamari ever (only second to Taco Mesa blackened calamari taco). The wasabi sauce was outstanding. Wife had a salad - it was great.

This is one of our favorite places for fusion food. The moroccan crab cakes were huge in size and taste! We were a little early for dinner on sunday evening. The place was not so fill. We had excellent service. Their presentation for all the dishes is something thats worth coming here for.
