We ate here twice on our recent visit to San Diego and while the Friday experience was delightful with little wait, great service, and wonderful food, the experience on Saturday was a great disappointment. We arrived and were told there was a 1 hour wait which we agreed to because of the experience the previous evening. 2 hours later we were given ...

I would not recommend anyone waste their time here. They thrive on their upscale image to explain their prices and to repudiate the need for good service.
The appetizers were fine. My meal was a "special" and I think everyone should avoid ordering specials ANYWHERE. They are always a mistake. We were there with a large group, and ...

Definetly not what we expected. When we walked in and took a look at the menu, the prices seemed outrageous. We ordered anyway and the service ended up being incredibly poor. The food took too long to come out and when we ate our selections, they had little taste. The calimari was bland and the sauces tasted like they were straight out of a ...

I just came back and it was excellent! I traveled from the Bay area and was looking for a good seafood spot and this was it. I got to sit in the patio with the beautiful view and I was wow'd. Will definitely come back again when I make my trip back to San Diego. Great Service and great food.

LOVE THIS PLACE. THREE DAYS IN A ROW BUT THOSE DARN CHAIRS ON THE BALCONY/PATIO HAVE TO GO. EVERYONE I SPOKE WITH THOSE 3 AFTERNOONS AGREED - THE CHAIRS ARE HORRIBLE, HARD ON THE BUTT AND TOTALLY UNCONFORTABLE. YOU HAD GUEST THAT COME ONCE A WEEK FROM NORTH S.D. AND THEY TOO SAID THEY HAVE COMPLAINED. HOPE YOU WILL DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. THANKS. JOHN ROSE
Everything about this restaurant was great. If you go, you MUST have the garlic cheesebread. I am 42 years old and this is the best garlic bread I have ever eaten. I could have made a meal out of just the bread. The rest of the food was very good, the prices were reasonable and the ocean views were very nice and relaxing. Plus you can walk down to Seaport Village and make a nice romantic evening of it.

Great Seafood and fun

The Seafood is great along with the coleslaw which has a touch of "Pinapple" flavoring to it. Especially nice during the summer months when you can sit outside along the water front.

It's okay

The best thing about this place is the view of the ocean. The service was average and I think the prices are a bit too much. I thought it was going to be more of an outdoor fish market but I guess not...

Sushi!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/18/06
I'm dangerous in a sushi restaurant. Sometimes, I just can't stop eating it and continue until I'm uncomfortable. I took my family to the Sushi Bar at the Fish Market in San Diego last night. This is one of our favorite spots for Sushi in the San Diego area. Always fresh. Good service. And on occasion we'll just tell the Sushi Chef ...
