AWESOME!! I lived in oceanside for 16 1/2 years went back after being gone for 9 years and this is still the best place for awesome mexican food!!

This place is "the place" to go for big orders and large portions. When I was stationed here, we could order over the phone and drive up to the front, honk and they would bring it to the car. Not a place to take the family, unless you get there early. This place is also great for after a night of drinking. Get there early eat, and then walk the O 'side pier or do some surfing. Fun times.

I came to visit my husband in CA before and after his deployment to Iraq. We were introduced to Colima's by some guys on base and it became our all time favorite mexican resturant. The portions are huge and the price is low! I highly reccomend the California Burrito!! We will be making a trip back just to visit this resturant!

I don't know about the neg reviews on this place... My family makes it a priority to go here every month. Being a military fam, it is THE place to go to when you are on a budget and want to get your food fast. The staff there is great, and the food is the best!

DOG SH*T! Need I say more? Most stale and disgusting garbage you'll ever have eaten. Plain and simple... it's GROSS! Don't even consider going to this place. You'd be better off going just about anywhere else! Hope you read this and LISTEN! I'm NOT making this up. Colima's Mexican Restaurant in Oceanside, California is beyond disgusting... it's the WORST EVER!

Nice food cool people and big burritos for a good price. Try the salsa it's spicy.

I'm originally from Chicago so I would say that the Mexican food from Chicago is always the BEST. However, this place is very good. Kind of dingy / beach atmosphere but nonetheless great food. Large portions are excellent as well and I've never waited long for my food. This is not a sit down restuaruant...more like fast food.

This place is a very bad place to eat and has the worst Mexican food that I have ever tasted. I have been to lots of Mexican food places and this is by far the worst. This restarant was not even a restaurant. It was a Taco Truck in a building. The food was cold, overpriced and had absolutely no taste at all. I was in the area visiting my son ...

I've been from one side of the counrty to the other, and this is by far one of the best Mexican food restaurants I've ever been to.
