Fantastic service and food. The only way that I could be happier would be if they served a shrimp and corn Chowder. I'm sure that with the seasons changing, the the aroma of a good chowder would really bring the chowder lovers of Escondido in.
Happy, judging by your spelling I would not trust your opinion. How Un-European of you. Bad Clown.

Champions is a basic diner atmpsohere. The food is great and of good value. Dinner's start at $6.95. The turkey is excellent and fresh roasted they claim. They do give you a dentist cup of cranberry sauce with the turkey. The crowd is mostly eldery and the lunch crowd. Not to many young people eat here except me. I would give this place 5 stars but they only accept cash and since this is the 21st century this practice is outdated.

Great place to eat! Try the eggs benedict for breakfast, it's the best eggs benedict I have ever had! It is made with homemade gravy and it is so good. Love the atmosphere too! Service is good and very friendly.

Ive only visited here once and i like the place a lot for it history. The food here is definitely better then your average Denny's. The portions are bigger too .....way bigger. The staff I found is really friendly. I ordered the Denver Omelette (which came with home style potatoes and bread) with a soda. With tip it was about 11 dollars. Be ...

Not only is the atmosphere friendly and energetic the food is outstanding. No where else can you go for a home cooked meal outside your home [I guess if you can even get that at home!]. The service is great and the waitresses are hilarious. There is a trio of sisters, a funny blonde and a nice brunette, the boys in back do a great job on cooking ...

I love this restaurant! Being a native Escondidian, Champion's has been our family's breakfast choice for many years. From the home made cinnamon rolls to the home made corn beef hash, I have never been disappointed in the food. It is always good, fresh ingredients and delicious. When my children come home to visit we always go to Champion's for breakfast. If you are looking for the place the locals eat, THIS IS IT!!

You must try the breakfast chicken fried steak and the lunch time favorite french dip. As stated in earlier reviews they have the best home made pies. With the holidays approaching be sure ...

I love the restaraunt, HATE the service. There are a couple servers in particular that are rude and downright disrespectful. On a typical morning, you seat yourself. Usually someone will come to your table with menus and will take your drink order. This morning, we were warmly greeted by the same sweet woman with short grey hair who knows we ...

Okay, I'm not a big breakfast eater, but this was fantastic! My friend is the queen of special orders, egg white omelette, no problem, cost a little extra but so what. Everything was really fresh and tasty. I had a turkey sandwich for breakfast, and it was real fresh turkey! Yummy! I gotta bring the family to this place.
