Jazzlady if you want a harty meal go to Peyou china buffet all you can eat, special 6.99. There are many trough restaurant in San Diego area.OVERALL

I don't understand Jazzlady's comments about this place. I've eaten there half a dozen time and have always had the best service and excellent meals. The meals I've had always come with a choice of soup or salad, they always offer you a side dish, and if you run out of bread they're more than happy to bring you more.

Oh, my GOSH!!!! Is YOUR idea of a lunch "meal" a slab of steak on a huge plate with a few mushroom bits on top and some sauce, and NOTHING ELSE - not even a parsley sprig or a pickle? OK, there was soup (tomato bisque) as "the side." ONE side. And that was the LUNCH SPECIAL. It was NOT "choice of soup or salad" ...4 of 9 Yahoo!
