I love the food here but the downside is that the tables are very very crowded together! I feel like I'm having dinner with the people next to me...if they would only pay our bill too!

We had an appetizer with raw filet minion that was fabulous. Next, amazing spinach salads with duck. Then, fettuccini primavera and the halibut special. We had desert because dinner was so great. The seating was very close; I had to pull all the way up to the table so the waiter could get to the table next to me. The food was fabulous but the restaurant was tighter than I had ever seen. There was less than a foot behind me to the next table.

They need a shoe-horn to squeeze you in because the tables are arranged so close together (Seem's like the Fire Dept would reduce the number of tables)

As others have stated, the best of many Italian restaurants in Encinitas. Delicious authentic food and good service yet reasonably priced. Not a bad selection on the menu. May not be a good choice if you are looking for a quiet, intimate dining experience, as the restaurant is small and often packed, therefore noisy. If this is not a concern and you are craving Italian cuisine in Encinitas, this is your place.

This is a place I've often driven by and said that I would stop and visit "one day".
