I've been there three times; and gotten stomache problems two of the three times.
Once on a salad bar (don't ask me how you get diaharrea from a salad bar); and the second time my son and I both got stomache aches from the McNuggets and the Southwestern eggrolls.

The place is always busy; I can't imagine how others are not getting sick.
My advice: go to Soup Plantation if you want big portions.

The food there is always good, but the service at this location was so pathetic I can't rate the food without a bad taste in my mouth from their staff. When we were told a 5-10 minute wait to be seated, it was over an hour before we noticed others entering ahead of us...we asked if our "name" (and who in the world is going to listen ...

I'm going with 3 stars because (1) they have a good chicken fried steak, (2) while you wait for a table beepers are provided and you can visit the bar in back with the beeper in hand and (3) the decor is rustic.

The Claim Jumper staff needs some serious training. Mostly it is an attitude problem but it's spilling over into poor ...

  • I highly Reccommend this place!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/20/05
I ate at this place once and WOW was it Great! I loved the way they had the whole place set up...it's like ur eating at a fancy western restaurant. They have a Chandelier light made out of deer antlers and everything you see is pretty much old fashioned western like. The food is a bit on the expensive side but it is well worth your money and ...

  • Boring whitebread food mounded for the masses
    By Michael, 12/03/05
I have eaten there twice, both times with groups that chose it.
Why people stand in line to eat at this chain is beyond me.
Take a look at all the reviews here and elsewhere. 90 percent of the time, all they can comment on is the quantity of the food.
You know what? Give me half the food, with better quality ingredients and prepared with care ...

  • A lot of food for the money
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/03/05
You'll get way too much food here, which is good if you can hold yourself back and take the rest for leftovers the next day.
