Well I loved the place, sitting outside almost reminds you of the old place in OLD TOWN. My food was great, beer was okay. Chairs are a little small and uncomfortable OUTSIDE, if your big or tall eat inside. The staff was hit an miss, but the food is really good.OVERALL

Great drinks-but the food is kind of Cal-Mex, which is GREAT if that's what you are looking for-but if you are looking for down home San Diego Mexican food, it's not the same.

ATTITUDE, ATTITUDE, ATTITUDE!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS PLACE! VERY POOR SERVICE TEAM with an hidden agenda. Very hostile people work here at this restuarant. great tacos last night on taco tuesday and $2. tecate, made for wonderful alitteration, and a great evening with a friend. Plus the bonus, I left my videocamera and vidcam bag slung on my chair. Fidels rocks! I have been a loyal customer for years and years! Well, about 11-12 years solid! I moved away to Texas and we don't have good mexican food out here, but everytime I go back home, Fidels is on my top list of things to do. I was part of a large family gathering this Afternoon, and it was very disappointing. Out of 10 of us there, no one was happy with their meal. Saveral had to send their food back, and the others got the wrong meals they had ordered. One of the Burrito's was so hard, they couldn't cut through it.
