If you like sushi and enjoy good service, never go there! The sushi was very low grade. The service was extremely poor; the waitress that served us was extremely unfriendly and we sat for over 40 minutes waiting for our food; prior to the food arriving, I asked her if it would take much longer and her answer was, "the cook is busy, so I ...

I remember going probably at least once a week since I was probably about five years old, and I am 22 now. The staff is like family and they always greet us with a smile. If you don't like waiting, make a reservation and if they are busy, don't be shy about reminding them if they forgot something, every gets busy now and then. The food is ...

Hana Haru has been serving the finest Japanese food in the San Gabriel valley for nearly 30 years. I have been going there for 25 years. I have never had a bad meal or sushi in that time. If you are looking for superior Japanese food this is your place. Sushi bar is small and fills up. Call in advance for a reservation.
Hoshi is the best!

After hearing about this place and its famous Senorita rolls, I'm sad to say this place highly disappointed me. The food looked unappetizing and tasted icky. The service was extremely slow (like we were bothering them while watching the Lakers game on TV.) The sushi bar is small, dark and it gave me claustrophobia. I usually have 4 rounds of sushi but left after one and went to a better sushi bar in Glendora.

Hana Haru is the only place I go for Sushi! Simply the best! A place I trust! Service is great as I only go during off times, so I can Get in? Hoshi is a sushi chef trained in Japan. If you speak Japanese they speak fluently. I see Hoshi inspect all the food that comes in. I see him send things back too. He works very hard to keep the place running efficiently.
