try the gravy fries! the loaded spuds are so good and the st. louis ribs actually filled me up. normally other places have small ribs that never make me feel like it was worth the price i paid for. canyon city was the exception. great food, service, and prices...what more is there to say?

I was decorating floats and got hungry. I had seen this place a year before but thought it was expensive. I went in and found a piece of heaven. The rib tips were piled high and I took a lot home. Food so good we went back the next day: A friend told me about this place and man it did live up to the expectations better than Lucilles Bar-B-Que its not much of a place to dine at just a little hole in the wall with an A grade. But I loved the food and I was so full after I went back the next day just to order dessert.

Not to be fooled, we arrived at 6, only to realize they closed at 6 on Sundays! Doh! The waitress, God bless her. saw us through the window and let us in anyway. Well, it was a mixed blessing, ...

We ran across this place by aroma. the food is great service is outstanding the owner meets and greets everyone the waitresses actually come by often to see if we wanted something else. the food was priced very reasonably, good portions the bbq beans were ooh so good. the brisket sandwiches are good but when you go there you must try the loaded spud. i'm definately a client for life.
