This is definitely a hole in the wall. It is right next to the newstand on Van Nuys and had a line out front. There's not much to comment about on ambience, since this establishment is as close to a food stand as you can get and still have indoor seating. • I Suggest Ordering Ahead
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/28/05
This tiny treasure off the major intersection of Van Nuys and Ventura serves up tasty mediterranean delights such as falafel (deep fried chick pea mix), chicken shish kabab (grilled white meat fillets) and great chicken shawarma (chicken and turkey rotisserie roasted on a vertical spit). However, parking is a pain in the butt and the line is often out the door. If you can, I suggest calling in your order ahead of time.

  • Best Hole-in-the-wall EVER

This place is amazing, I don't think you can go there too many times. The guys that run the place are real nice and the food is great. It's also a hooka spot, for those of you that like hooka. Right in the Village, it is the pefect place that many people can just walk to. You may want to call in your order ahead, though, this place is rather popular!

The lines half way down the block on the daily should have been a clue! It's best not to go there at lunch time, unless you have a good amount of time to wait in line. I go in the evening, and the wait ...
