2nd best Chinese place I've ever eaten at (the 1st being 9 yrs ago in Reseda!). I live in Nevada and have driven to Los Alamitos twice for this food. The lettuce wrap appetizer is HUGE and sooo tasty. Also tried the walnut chicken, orange beef, lo-mein, sweet and sour chicken and sweet and sour tofu. All INCREDIBLE. Huge portions- enough for a ...

I love this place and we often order it at work. The food is not greasy and the flavors are simple and light. If you are used to traditional high-sodium American-Chinese, you may think it a bit bland. I'm trying to lose weight so I appreciate the number of vegetable and seafood dishes. If you are looking for a lighter chinese food experience then try this place, you'll love it!

    Great food, great service.
I watch my cholesterol pretty closely and shouldn’t eat Chinese food. This is the ONLY Chinese restaurant that I’m aware of that has a “low cholesterol menu”.

Cost-efficient and health conscious people will love this place. Fortune Cookies is great. It is a healthier alternative to Chinese food. They have a diabetic menu and have all the triglicerides and proteins and calories right on the menu.
Sure, there are Chinese restaurants with fuller-in-flavor food because as we all know, MSG is delicious. But for a flavorful, lower in calorie Chinese meal, go to Fortune Cookies.

I suggested to my hubby that we try this restaurant based on the other reviews. We've tried some other places listed on Yahoo locals and have had some great meals. I cant say that for Fortune Cookies Restaurant. The only thing good about the place was that our pickup order was ready quickly. We've been looking for a good chinese restaurant ...

I stumbled upon the "Fortune Cookie" when i wanted a delivery alternative other than pizza, and it is truly the best, hands down. Dine-in experiance is exceptional....the staff, the ambiance, and last but not least...the food is the best!! I've meet Mr. Libonati once and i think his employee's share his vision and autitude. Keep fighting the good fight!!

  • Only place I eat Chinese food

Absolutely fabulous food. All the meat is lean. I love biting into sweet and sour chicken and not finding any fat. The menu gives the calories and dietary exchanges. All this and they deliver too! I love this place! Lunch is the cheapest, between $5 & $7 and you will take some home with you. Great value!
